Renewal open
Greeting from Uotake.
We strive everyday to maintain our founders philosophy of “Strong ties with the community”.
On April 14th 2021, we reopened the doors of the“New Uotake” following our renovation.
We have made big changes while keeping all the good parts. We have created a comfortable space that customers can enjoy.
With the reopening, came the opportunity to rethink our slogan, and we decided on “More Eel Everyday”.
We chose this slogan because we want people to be cheerful and enter our restaurant without reservations.
We will continuously strive to improve the “sauce” and “grilling techniques” inherited from the founder.
Come experience the taste and history of our restaurant that is 50 years in the making.
We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant.

We use domestic eels, and our main suppliers are from Tokushima / Kagoshima / Isshiki.
We are able to purchase high-quality eels through our long-standing relationships.
We don't use ice during handling.
Our tasty ingredients are kept refrigerated until an order is placed, at which time we will start cooking.
* Varies depending on the season.
Each eel has it's own distinct flavor, depending on where it is from.
Our craftsmen identify each eel and match it with it's optimum grilling method.
Our secret recipes have been handed down since our founding.
The feature of our sauce is the initial spicy kick.
Our rice is procured directly from contract farmers from Kagawa prefecture,
and we use rice that matches the eel according to the season of the year.
